"Nur Fur frontkampfer im infanterueverband" which translates in to " only for frontline infantry troops" , although not issued to all troops on a daily basis like British and American rations is as close as you can get to a ration box used on the front lines.
This box consisted of:
- 1 x Outer carton fold and tuck box in white card stock overprinted in red
- 1 x Chocolate Hanner chocolate candy bar - with a very small amount of fruit and nut content and was 43 grams in weight
- 1 x Fruchtriegel Fruit Bar - Fruit solids and sugar mix weighing 78 grams and being of a compressed nature
- 1 x Kraft keks - energy biscuit. A hard biscuit of a dry grainy consistency is all the information i can find on this
- 1 x Deli Dropse - V drops. A vitamin enriched bonbon style sweet, this includes the inner and outer wrapper for them
- 3 x caramel sweet wrappers
- 1 x Juno cigarette packet with tax stamp
- 1 x Jupiter matchbook
The kit comes flat pack for you to build and will come with instructions of sizes to aim for when making your contents or reproduction blocks for set piece displays.
A high quality print to have sitting in your trench or assault pack.
