This reproduction stove is based upon measurements and diagrams from an original. 

The items were professionaly laser cut and then the hinge mechanism is hand shaped, what i wanted to achieve with this stove is an item that doesnt rely on a centre pin. I purchased one many years ago while at the Victory show in Leciestershire. It had this centre pin design and was made from steel that was too thick. The originals were made from 0.5mm metal, no centre pin . Just hinging on its own turned metal and were designed as a throw away item. I wanted to reproduce this as closely as possible to the orignal as i could.

So while you may get some manufacturing marks on the metal i feel this is a good representation and as close to the original as possible. No centre pin at all and it pivots on itself.

These would have been issued prior to D DAY with the 24hr ration pack and allowed the infantry to cook on or make a brew. Will happily take the weigh of a mess tin or full mug of tea.
